30 - DAY RETURN POLICY

We want you to be completely satisfied with your jewelry purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, simply return it for a full refund or exchange within 30 days from the original date of purchase.

Jewelry must be in good condition with all original certificates and accessories. 

Watches must be in original condition (unworn, unaltered) to be accepted for return or exchanged, with all packaging, instructions and warranties. 

Merchandise that has been special ordered, customized or custom made items including class rings, engraved items  and sale or clearance items cannot be returned or exchanged. 

Cash sale refunds are issued to the original purchaser with the original sales receipt. Cash refunds over $100 are made by check.

Check purchase refunds will be issued 14 days after original purchase date in order to allow for customers check to clear their bank.

Charge card credits are issued to the original purchaser on the same charge card to which the item was charged. 

Gifts returned can only be exchanged other merchandise or converted to a in-store credit.

  

60 DAY EXCHANGE POLICY

You are also protected by our 60 day exchange policy.  Within 60 days of original purchase date you may exchange your purchase for another item of equal or greater value.

Merchandise that has been special ordered, customized, or custom made including class rings, engraved items and sale or clearance items cannot be returned or exchanged. Any certificated or special documentation must accompany exchange or a restocking fee may apply. 

 

SPECIAL ORDERS

We regret that special orders are not returnable, and that no refund or exchange can be made.  All special orders require a 50% deposit.  A special order includes any unique diamond requests, jewelry, colored gemstones, watch, or gift items ordered or altered at your request.  Full payment is  required upon receipt of the special order of which will denote your full satisfaction.

 

CUSTOM WORK

Custom designed and manufactured jewelry involves metal, gemstones, and labor furnished by Leighton’s for a specific customer.  As such, all custom jewelry is nonrefundable and requires a 50% nonrefundable deposit before the work begins.  Every effort is made by Leighton’s to accurately manufacture or produce the item(s) so ordered.

 

REPAIRS

Jewelry repairs have a normal turnaround time of 5 to 10 working days from the date we receive the merchandise. Sizing and setting estimates will be determined per work & materials upon receiving the merchandise. More complicated repairs will need to be determined by our master jeweler.  

Simple watch repairs can be done while you wait (cells, watch bands or adjustments). Watch repairs have a normal turnaround time of 3 to 10 work days from the date we receive merchandise. Older watches & pocket watches can take longer because of part issues. Free repair estimates will be given before any major work (costing over $20) will be done on your timepiece.

 

FINANCING

Leighton’s is pleased to offer same-as-cash financing through Iddeal Credit card.

We also accept Cash, Check, Discover, Mastercard and Visa.

 

LAYAWAYS 

Items may be put on layaway for up to 6 Months from the purchase date with a 20% deposit at the time of the layaway.  A monthly payment guarantee must be given in order to keep the merchandise on layaway.  Layaways can be canceled within 30 days with a full refund of deposit, if after 30 days you decide to cancel your layaway or if two or more monthly payments are missed, the item(s) will be returned to stock leaving a in-house credit balance, there is a 15% restocking based on the value of the items placed on laysway .  All layaway items will stay with Leighton’s until the item is paid in full.

 

NSFD CHECKS

A $35.00 fee will be charged to you the customer if for any reason your check is returned to us from your bank.
